Text Submissions: We collect the text you submit for rewriting to provide the service. We do not retain this text after processing unless you explicitly save it.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card information directly.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

Usage Data: We track the number of rewrites per user per day to enforce fair usage limits.
Device & Browser Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referral source.
Cookies & Analytics: We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with our service.

To provide, maintain, and improve the service
To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse

We store user data in Supabase with industry-standard encryption. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except:

Anthropic: Text is sent to Anthropic's API for rewriting and subject to their privacy policy.
Stripe: Payment information is processed by Stripe.
Clerk: Authentication data is managed by Clerk.

5. Chrome Extension Permissions

Our Chrome extension requests the following permissions:

contextMenus: To add "Rewrite" option to right-click menu
activeTab: To access the current tab for reading selected text
storage: To store your authentication session locally

We do not access your browsing history or data on any other websites.
